The Jefferson Parish Library computer classes are designed to assist you in acquiring practical skills needed to use a computer. Small classes allow for individual attention and hands-on experience. All classes are beginning level and are FREE! Each class is a one-time two hour class. Classes are held at both East Bank Regional Library and West Bank Regional Library.
The Jefferson Parish Library's free Searching the Library Catalog computer class teaches the following:
- looking up books, videos, music, CD-ROMs, DVDs and children's material
- searching by subject title or author
- having a book shipped to your local branch
- checking your Library record
