HUD RELEASES 2006 PUBLIC-USE DATABASE FOR FANNIE MAE AND FREDDIE MAC

WASHINGTON ? The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development today announced the release of the GSE Public-Use Database (PUDB) of single-family and multifamily mortgage acquisitions in 2006. This data on mortgages purchased by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, two government-sponsored enterprises or GSEs, supplies mortgage lenders, planners, researchers, and housing advocates with information concerning the flow of mortgage credit and capital in America?s communities.
