Youth Violence Prevention Week 2008

High Voltage Youth CampĀ  is part of this year’s “Youth Violence Prevention Week” (March 28-April 4, 2008). The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness and to educate students, teachers, school administrators, counselors, school resource officers, school staff, parents, and the public on effective ways to prevent or reduce youth violence. HIGH VOLTAGE YOUTH CAMP is a non-profit organization that provides education and recreation programs for economically disadvantaged youth, ages 14 to 19. They are dedicated to helping youth realize their potential, build character, and function effectively as contributing members of society. High Voltage also works to build community collaborations, and partnerships with organizations that serve youth.
